Fei Comodo Prepare for Mammoth Tour
Best British Newcomer Nomination at Kerrang! Awards

Having spent the best part of 12 months gigging solidly up and down the UK alongside acts such as Parkway Drive, Enter Shikari, Devil Sold His Soul, Fightstar and InMe, FEI COMODO have become a firm favourite on the UK scene. Their hard work has paid off, securing them a nomination at this year’s Kerrang! Awards for Best British Newcomer. Although they did not win, the band had a great time at the awards. Bassist Jay Styler comments:

“I think we made the whole night even COOLER by showing up on the red carpet with our sick-as-hell £9.99 scooters from Argos, just a shame there wasn't a Best Entrance Award! As for the nomination for Best British Newcomer, we were all dead-chuffed! It would have been awesome to win, but just being there, amongst all the wicked bands and all that freakin' free beer it was amazing for us. It was an absolute HONOUR to be nominated & to be able to attend the whole event. If we don't end up going next year, I'm breaking in for sure, it's literally unmissable!”

The band are also preparing to embark on a mammoth tour of the UK, opting to stay off the beaten track and into those hard to reach places this time around:

“We're ridiculously excited about this particular tour because we get to play a load of places we've never been to before and at the same time bust out some new tunes!” says the band. “This will be our first tour since Download Festival so it's safe to say we're extremely hungry to play live and tear these places up!! We've dubbed it, “The are you Local?! Tour” as a tribute to The Legue of Gentleman, because we're positive we'll meet some strange characters while playing some of these more off beat towns!”
