NoiseArt Records is very proud to announce the signing of Australian thrash metal institution MORTAL SIN. Their brand new thrash hammer “Psychology of Death“ will be released in Europe on November 18th 2011 via NoiseArt Records including their legendary debut album “Mayhemic Destruction“ as a bonus disc in the limited digi pak version. This very record put MORTAL SIN on the thrash metal map back in 1986 letting them become a rising star in the scene and throughout their career the band toured and played with acts such as METALLICA, ANTHRAX, FAITH NO MORE, TESTAMENT, OVERKILL, JUDAS PRIEST and many more…

Commented the band about the signing and new album:

“Mortal Sin are proud to announce we have signed to “NoiseArt/Rock The Nation” for the release of our new album “Psychology of Death”! What we wanted to do was a simple thrash album, sometimes you can get so caught up in the complexities of everything that you forget about what thrash is all about. This time around we said we wanted to go back to our roots, we we’re going to write an album like ‘Mayhemic Destruction’, simple old school thrash! This is by far our fastest and heaviest album to date. We really wanted to grab people by the balls with this one!”

Statement NoiseArt Records:

“We are more than happy to welcome such a legendary band like MORTAL SIN to the NoiseArt family! Back in the glorious 80ies MORTAL SIN had essentially formed the thrash metal genre as we know it among other groups like METALLICA, ANTHRAX, MEGADETH and SLAYER, leaving a milestole album for the fans with „Mayhemic Destruction“ in 1986 which has become a true classic! This album will be released as a bonus CD with the limited digi pak edition of the new output „Psychology of Death“. MORTAL SIN have lost nothing of their enormous energy whatsoever, the new record is an intense and amazing masterpiece of thrash: aggressive, fast, brilliant! We´re very much looking forward to the release of the album and to be working with MORTAL SIN in the future!“

The album was recorded by producer Darrren Jenkins who is responsible for the massive sound on “Psychology of Death”. The drum sound will tear your speakers in pieces, the guitars sound furiously fast and aggressive. Old school as hell and fast as f*ck!

MORTAL SIN 2011 is a true thrash metal monster!

Tracklisting “Psychology of Death”:

1. Psychology Of Death
2. Blood Of My Enemies
3. Paralysed
4. Burned Into Your Soul

Reading metal mob SYLOSIS have announced a UK headline tour in support of latest album “Edge Of The Earth”, with MALEFICE, ANTERIOR and CHAPTERS providing the supporting cast.

Mainman Josh Middleton tells us what to expect:

“We’re very excited to be heading out on our own tour which will be the first opportunity for our fans to see/hear some other new tracks from ‘Edge of the Earth’ live. “If anyone’s repeatedly punched you in the face and you liked it, then
you’ll probably like headliners Turbogeist. With few wild theatrics and
other superfluous niceties, what you do get is a frenetic wall-shaking
earthquake of a set… letting nearby residents know that living next to a
rock club was apparently a bad idea has never been so fun.”
The Fly UK (live review)

LONDON’S OWN Turbogeist embark on a UK-wide headlining trek this September, bringing their brand of rock-punk-garage-blues to the people.
A four-piece combo from the depths of North London's east end, the live experience is where the band thrives. The point of Turbogeist was always just to inject some of the raw original virtues back into rock 'n' roll, says guitarist/singer Luis Felber. Singer/guitarist Jimmy Jagger is in perfect agreement: “We just want people to enjoy themselves at our shows. Forgetabout everything, experience the chaos, go mental. Essentially it's just a pleasant, stress-relieving experience that we provide.”
If you like your stress-relief breakneck and riotous, then you need Turbogeist in your life.
The band recently completed recording an E.P. at the legendary Konk Studios,
which will be sold as a limited edition version at these shows only.

NOISEART RECORDS presents: STEELWING – update from the studio!

The upcoming second Steelwing, yet untitled, album is scheduled for release in early 2012. It will take the post apocalyptic heavy metal onslaught into outer space with a full on tribute to cult 1980's science fiction movies.
The band has now uploaded several clips from the studio as well as a photo gallery. Check out two clips right here:

Check out the photos from the studio here:!/media/set/?set=a.10150294839219489.350791.158721629488&type=1

Fans of the previous album will not be disappointed by the intense twin-guitar riffage, supersonic metal screams and furious double-kick action, but the band promise more diversity and dynamics as well.
Some of the song titles set to appear on the album will be “Full Speed Ahead!” and “Solar Wind Riders”, a couple of which have already been performed live this year to the approval of headbangers all over Europe.
Studio/Album facts:

Rikard Löfgren: Gold and platinum awarded songwriter and producer.

References: Deathstars, Mamakin, Enforcer and Vomitory as well as several major pop artists.
Studio: Leon Music Studios, Karlstad, Sweden
When: August 2011

Commented the band:

“Rikard was one of several possible producers suggested to us by our management, not someone we had initially considered but after looking into his previous works we decided to meet with him earlier this year and discuss our ideas for a second album. We immediately felt confident that he was the right man for the job: as a metalhead, he understands our influences and what we want to achieve, but as a pop producer we also believe that he will be able to bring out the best in our song writing.”

MONSTER MAGNET have revealed details of a special live trip down memory lane. The New Jersey space-rockers will perform their seminal “Dopes To Infinity” album in its entirety, as well as select “hits” from their back catalogue at two exclusive performances in Glasgow and London in November. As well as all the classic songs, fans can expect a visual treat, specially tailored towards the “Dopes…” album.

Mainman Dave Wyndorf explains:

“Hey friends! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support over the last twenty years. Speaking for myself and all the members of Monster Magnet I'd like you to know how much we enjoy performing our music live and I'm sure you would agree with me when I say that live shows are the ultimate bond between artists and fans.

“It's in that spirit that I'm excited to tell you of our next live project: performing the album “Dopes To Infinity” live in it's entirety. When I wrote “Dopes” in 1995 I envisioned a hard-rock, tripped-out journey exploring the many sounds and styles of the “great psychedelic era of 1968-1974″.

“I carefully sequenced the album to take the listener on a “roller-coaster ride” of engaging words and music. I sang songs of love, hate, lust, joy and desperation
in a style I hoped would fire the listener's imagination, bringing the everyday emotions that we all share to mythical heights. Thankfully, the fans and critics told me I succeeded. Now I'd like to bring that experience to the stage. “Dopes To Infinity”: Live! In it's entirety. A complete trip from beginning to end.

I can't wait!”

Fast-rising Swedish/Danish melodic metallers confirm first ever headline UK show; London Borderline booked for December 12th 2011 in the wake of Bloodstock Open Air appearance….

AMARANTHE, the Swedish/Danish power/melodic death metal band formed by singer Jake E. Lundberg & guitarist Olof Morck and featuring front-woman Elize Ryd in a three-pronged vocal attack, will play a headline show at the Borderline in London on December 12th 2011.

Tickets are priced at £10.00 and are available now from the usual outlets. An opening act will be announced shortly.

ORIGINALLY CALLED Avalanche, this six-piece set-up first came to public attention via a four-song demo (2008)… and now that demo has developed into a debut album – called simply ‘Amaranthe’, produced by Jacob Hansen and available via Spinefarm Records; already, two singles have been taken from the record (‘Hunger’ & ‘Rain’), with a third, ‘Amaranthine’, to follow.

To support the initial release of the album, Amaranthe Special Guested with Kamelot
on two UK dates in April of this year, then followed this up with an appearance at the Bloodstock festival in August; of course, Swedish vocalist Elize is no stranger to Kamelot’s music, having performed live with the group throughout 2010 – indeed,
she will also be touring the US with them shortly…

Upon her return, Amaranthe – completed by singer Andy Solvestrom, bassist Johan Andreassen and Danish drummer Morten Lowe Sorensen – head over to Japan to appear at the annual, highly prestigious Loud Park event, having already sold out a headline show in Tokyo in 10 minutes flat!

Then it’s off on a full tour of mainland Europe with heroic Swedish metallers Hammerfall, before heading over to the UK for the Borderline date…

MYGRAIN have announced a one-off show at the Underworld in London on Tuesday, November 15th; this is the first UK date the six-piece outfit have played in support of their latest self-titled studio album, released in February 2011 via Spinefarm Records – indeed, their first appearance over here full stop.

With mixing/mastering handled by Dan Swanö (Swallow The Sun, etc.), this is the melodic death metal group’s third full-length outing since coming together back in 2004; it features the video tracks ‘Trapped In An Hourglass’ & ‘Immortal Aeons’, and is a telling showcase for a signature style that successfully matches brutal technicality to more crossover melodies, the result being an approach that could be defined as ‘progressive/aggressive’ but which has come to sit most neatly under the ‘Space Metal’ banner.

This London show is part of a 16-date European tour with Before The Dawn and headliners Insomnium.
